Course objectives

Familiarity with modern methods of production logistics and production process planning systems. The content of the training includes modern planning methods that aim to minimize costs, meet deadlines, reduce lead times, decrease production progress, reduce inventory and increase the overall efficiency and flexibility of the production process.

• Trends in APS / SCM production planning and management
• Production planning and control systems, "Push" systems (MRP I, MRP II, DBR, OPT, BOA) and "Pull" systems (JIT, MRP III, KANBAN, CONWIP)
• Scheduling algorithms, simulation and capacity management
