Introduction to the basics of electrical engineering

Course objectives

The objective of this course is to provide an overview about the basic physical quantities, to briefly cover the principle of the electric motor, what control and regulation actually is. It is an additional subject to mechanical engineering, machine parts and technological lines. The training is accompanied by practical demonstrations.

• Basic physical quantities. Voltage, current, resistance, power, input, efficiency.
• Alternating current, direct current.
• Source. Appliance
• Circuit diagrams (Kirchhoff's law, symbols).
• Electromagnetic induction and electromagnetism
• The principle of the electric motor.
