Course objectives

TISAX is a standard defining information security requirements implemented in the automotive industry. It is a mechanism for evaluating and exchanging information on the security of organizations. TISAX was developed by members of the VDA Automotive Association as a catalogue of information security requirements, based on the international standard ISO / IEC 27001. The course will teach you what the requirements of the TISAX standard are and how to integrate them with your own ISMS information security management system. You will gain knowledge about how to implement the TISAX standard in practice and how certification takes place in TISAX conditions.

• Basic information about the TISAX standard (terminology, purpose)
• Understanding of TISAX elements and their implementation into the common system of the organization
• Online registration as a TISAX participant
• TISAX versus ISO / IEC 27001 - connection of TISAX with information security management system
• TISAX principles and processes
• TISAX test types
• TISAX risk analysis
• Understanding of the evaluation mechanism according to the VDA-ISA criteria catalogue
• Understanding the process from implementation to audit by accredited providers
• Practical examples of how to organize and perform an internal audit to self-assess and verify the level of compliance with TISAX requirements
