Quality assurance manager

Course objectives

The goal of the training is to prepare the participants for the effective performance of the function of quality assurance manager, to familiarize them with the basics of quality management systems in accordance with requirements of EN ISO 9001 standard and with the rules of the process approach, to explain them the basics of the Statistical process control (SPC) methods, the Measurement system analysis methodology (MSA) as well as the Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). At the same time, participants will learn how to correctly use the basic Quality control tools (QC Tools) as well as the most modern methodologies for solving problems or complaints (Global 8D methodology) and the basics of continuous process improvement (Kaizen, Lean Management, etc.).

• The role of the quality manager in the organization
• Introduction to the quality management systems
• Interpretation of EN ISO 9001:2015 requirements and related standards
• Methods and best practices used during implementation of the quality management systems
• Problem solving and basic quality tools (QC Tools), 5xWhy, Ishikawa diagram, Pareto diagram, Brainstorming, Multivoting, Action plans using PDCA cycle etc.
• The most modern methodology used for problem solving, complaints handling (Global 8D) and the basics of continuous improvement process (Kaizen, Lean Management, 5S method, Waste management etc.)
• Analysis of possible failures and their consequences FMEA
• Measurement system analysis using the MSA method, basics of metrology requirements
• Statistical process control using SPC
• Exercises, examples and tips for quality management from practice
