What is ISO? 

ISO, which stands for the International Organization for Standardization, is an international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland, founded on February 23, 1947. It operates in 164 countries and issues internationally recognized standards under the same designation - ISO. Over the course of its existence, the organization has issued more than 20,000 ISO standards, making it the world's largest developer of voluntary, internationally recognized standards. 

 

What are ISO standards?

It may cover product manufacturing, process management, service delivery, or material supply - the standards span a wide range of activities.
